BOYS ONLY FOR BLUEBONNETS

I only took my boys out for bluebonnet photos this year.  No clients or families this year.

I never know quite how I feel about bluebonnets until I photograph my first bluebonnet session.  They are a love-hate for photographers.  We struggle with how to price them, how to schedule them and then we pray it doesn't rain.

And then you get out to "your" spot and you see the light and you fall in love with bluebonnets and spring all over again.

I was determined to get my boys out there for our annual photographs in the field.  We were exhausted, it was week 2 of quarantine and the first week of navigating distance learning.  Justin was working long hours from home and I was still trying to make deadlines which will be another blog, because that was almost as unrealistic as capturing these photos was.  But they both are getting done.

Reza and Ethan were actually look forward to them.  They are big on traditions.  It was also a nice break and something normal to do.  And Luke will learn to love it or dread it.  He was pretty darn cute out there this year.

Next year I hope to offer them to more clients as we come out of coronavirus quarantine and get back to life.  Good thing about bluebonnets- they bloom every spring.
