We are located in Katy, TX. But we travel throughout Houston and the surrounding areas. Want a destination session, a timeless family portrait on a family ranch- let’s go! We’d love to talk about your visions and dreams for family and senior portraits.

DO WE GET TO CHOSE OUR PHOTOGRAPHER?

Our photographers are all trained to capture a vision true to Laura Chiles Photographer’s style to ensure that LC Photographers has a consistent look and we will work with you for your photographer of choice.

HOW FAR IN ADVANCE SHOULD WE SCHEDULE A SESSION?

We recommend scheduling 2-3 months in advance to secure your date and perfect time.

Does our session fee apply towards our print collection?

Our session fees include a consultation, session and our post photography session meetings.

DO YOU OFFER PAYMENT PLANS?

Absolutely!  We are always willing to work within your parameters to offer you the highest quality heirloom photographs for generations to come.  

DO YOU OFFER MINI-SESSIONS OR SMALLER COLLECTIONS FOR PEOPLE WHO ONLY WANT A FEW IMAGES?

We do offer select mini session dates throughout the year.  These are a wonderful opportunity to work with our team in smaller setting for themed photo sessions like pumpkins, bluebonnets, holiday session and beach sessions, as well as many fun sessions though out the year.  But to create something unique to your family and senior, we would recommend reserving a custom session.

WHAT TYPE OF PAYMENT METHODS DO YOU ACCEPT?

We accept all major credit cards, cash and check.

WHAT IS YOUR TURNAROUND TIME?

We turn around a gallery of images in about 2 weeks, we will schedule your viewing session at the same time as your photography session. 

Retouched digital images are delivered within 7 days of the ordering. Heirloom prints, gift prints, albums and announcements are typically delivered 2-3 weeks after the ordering session.

If we want to add hair and make-up to our experience how would we go about doing that?

We will be offering hair and make-up packages available for an additional fee. 

How many outfits do we bring?  And where do we go for our photo session?

All of that will be discussed during your pre-session consultation. We have many different and unique locations that we use and are always open to finding new locations to fit your personalities and needs.  We will have fun talking about that when we meet.

HOW MANY PHOTOS DO YOU TAKE AND HOW MANY DO WE GET IN OUR GALLERY?

I’m  a photojournalist by training so I take a TON of photographs, probably around 1000-1500 photos.  I usually take a lot of candids as well as posed and lots of interaction photographs to tell a complete story of you.  That being said we edit it down to about 100-150 images for you to view.

WHAT TIME OF DAY DO YOU SHOOT AND HOW LONG IS THE SESSION?

I love to shoot in the early-late evening.  But I can create beautiful images at any time of day.  The session varies from 1-2 hours depending on our location, travel time and if we try to capture a few different locations for a senior session.

What do we do if weather interferes with our session?

We can’t control mother nature, but will do our best to reschedule in a timely manner. 
We leave dates open to accommodate the weather.
