We do love our park trips. It's a good walk for mama and Luke gets to explore. This time Ethan took my camera and laid down under a swinging Luke to get some photos.

What's not to love about a toddler and bubble baths?

So quarantine and the new life of COVID has changed so many of our lives. For my boys and I it means a lot more outdoor time. Luckily they got these fancy scooters for Christmas so we've been enjoying taking them to skate parks in the area and making ramps for the cul de sac.

A few weekends ago I packed up the boys at the early hour of 9:30 am. Oh, the groans that were heard from my children. And we trekked 50 minutes west to Weimar, TX, and the Hatari Wildlife

Puddles are just meant to be splashed! And when you have a 13-year-old and a 2-year old that both have fascinations with puddles for different reasons, it makes for some fun and dangerous adventures.

My boys LOVE the trampoline. Especially Ethan and Luke, and often the neighborhood boys and girls join us.

The one thing that it has not messed with is migratory patterns. And the hummingbirds don't know that COVID has changed how so many of us live our lives today.

I love getting the call to help professionals with their branding images. It gives me an opportunity to take my art and my photojournalism background and do some investigating and find the perfect background to reflect you.

So we've been to the beach, we made bubbles, we've swum, gardened, jumped, biked, hiked, and bounced. But summer isn't summer without watermelon!!

I love art exhibits! Love them! And this new (before COVID) trend of interactive artist installments is my favorite! I get so inspired by the color and light and movement of them. And Color Factory in Houston was definitely one of these spaces.

Well, we did it. We graduated the baby to a big boy bed. Well, it's really just a mattress on the floor right now, but he doesn't know any better.

Justin spent a lot of time sanding and refinishing Luke's crib. It was a labor of love and was his crib when he was a baby so it is very sentimental.

Mountain biking or trail riding has consumed our quarantine life. My oldest Reza got a new bike for his birthday in May and it's all been downhill from there.

Our cul de sac has become a building and jump hub as several of his friends and him have taken to using our scrap wood to build skinnies and jumps and a-frames and other technical terms that I am not upon.

It felt good to get the camera out and take some photos. We ended up going to the beach after naptime most days which was wonderful. The beach was almost empty and we had amazing light, which as a photographer is the real goal.

Can we all agree that there are certain parts of quarantine that suck?
This part didn't.
We went to Galveston for 6 days and enjoyed our time away.

Buc ee's in Katy, TX has the longest carwash in the world according to the Guinness Book of World Records. And man it's a good thing it's close by! We go at least 1-2 times a month. We pay our fee and then go through the gate once the arm lifts up and wait in a line, there is ALWAYS a line.
