Well, we did it.  We graduated the baby to a big boy bed.  Well, it's really just a mattress on the floor right now, but he doesn't know any better.

Justin spent a lot of time sanding and refinishing Luke's crib.  It was a labor of love and was his crib when he was a baby so it is very sentimental.

It was the background for Luke's 12-month photos in his first year.  So it only seems fitting that we ended the era with some photos of him in the crib before we put it away in the attic for the next generation.

I think Ethan really loved the crib a lot too.  He was always getting in with Luke, but maybe he just loves Luke.   I'm just glad that Reza and Ethan didn't successfully show him how to climb out of the crib.

I will miss it- the baby jail.  But I can always lock him in his room if he becomes a wanderer which so far he hasn't.

It's bittersweet to watch your babies grow up.
