I love Friday night! Walking onto the field and being a part of a dance that has so many moving parts from the trainers, the band, the cheerleaders, coaches, the flagmen and then of course the football players.

Sometimes I feel like I'm better at documenting the sidelines and fans and the whole story of a game than the action on the field. I've been photographing sports since I was 13 years old but I see what some of the photographers that I work with on the sidelines capture and I can't compare. But I'm getting there. Every game I feel like my action photos are improving. It helps that I was able to purchase the equipment that I needed this year. It's been a game changer ;-)

But the prayers before coming onto the field, the joy in the kids faces, the cheering and silliness, and can we talk about how far marching band half time shows have come since I was a kid- WOW!
