Buc ee's in Katy, TX has the longest carwash in the world according to the Guinness Book of World Records.  And man it's a good thing it's close by!  We go at least 1-2 times a month.  We pay our fee and then go through the gate once the arm lifts up and wait in a line,  there is ALWAYS a line.

I put the car in park and get Luke out of his car seat.  He waves the attendant.  He waves to everyone.  He is so lonely.

And then we spend the next few minutes looking at the lights and the bubbles and colors and the spaghetti washer and the rollers that whip over the car.  Then we make rain sounds for the rinse and wax and hold onto each other when blowers dry us off.

We "drive" together to the vacuum and now that vacuuming is Luke's favorite pastime he gets to vacuum and help.

He always cries when we leave even after we drive over and watch other cars go through the wash.  He wants to go in again and doesn't stop crying until we go to Sonic and get a drink, the end of the tradition.

I'm telling you quarantine makes some interesting new habits in our house.
