I'M GOING TO DUB THIS SENIOR WEEK 2020

One of the greatest joys in my work is growing with families.  I may not have watched Noah grow up, but his parents are some of my favorite people.  They have been tremendous supports in parenting, scouts and life lessons.  And their kids are a great reflection of that.

Noah is the oldest of 6 and his siblings are going to have some big shoes to fill.  This kid is going to make the world better and brighter.  He is grounded.  His joy when he came back from a Boy Scout venture trip was tangible.  He has had his struggles and to witness him triumphing and finding him has been a joy for me to witness, if only from the sidelines.

He was a great sport for his senior photos.  Sometimes I feel like boys are my favorites.  They work so hard to please their mamas at these sessions.  Finding the real smiles is always a challenge for me.  It's like each time I have to find the key.  This time it was my son, Ethan.  Ethan got out early that day from school and was my assistant.  Half way through the session I felt like Noah was going to scold him like an older brother would because Ethan being a younger brother was pushing his buttons.  Even though I could tell Noah was starting to get irritated, we gave him breaks when we went from one location to the next in Downtown Richmond, TX, and I like to think it helped take the pressure off of the session and capturing the "perfect" photo. Although I think we captured a few of them.

Thank you Noah!  I'm sorry the end of your senior year didn't turn out the way you may have envisioned.  I enjoyed helping you capture your senior portraits.
